Download Rothek Font Family From Groteskly Yours

Rothek is a geometric sans serif type family with a strong and unique character. It comes in 20 weights — 10 uprights and 10 italics — and is a perfect tool for any designer who needs a versatile font for a variety of projects. While retaining its uniqueness and whimsicality, Rothek is highly legible even at smaller weights, which makes it a perfect fit for app and web design. But what’s really great about Rothek is its OpenType features, which make it really stand out. Not only does it know how to do fractions, but it also does subscript and superscript; it’s equipped with case-sensitive punctuation, which adjusts the height of your parentheses, hyphens (and many more) to the height of your letters. But there’s still more: Rothek is loaded with various figures — from default proportional numerals to oldstyle figures, tabular figures and tabular oldstyle figures. As for language support, there’s plenty. Rothek is fluent in all European languages, as well as Vietnamese and Pinyin. On top of that there’s Adobe Extended Cyrillic set for most Slavic languages. As a cherry on top, there are stylistic alternatives for selected glyphs both in Latin and Cyrillic layouts and lots of extra symbols to work and experiment with. With 761 glyphs in each style, Rothek is a perfect workhorse font for those who always wanted a modern sans serif font with a strong character.

Passenger Sans is a large family designed for editorial projects. You can build great design systems using just its fonts, or you could combine them with two related ITF families: Passenger Serif and Passenger Display. Passenger Sans’s letterforms have compact proportions; their apertures are small. In the upright fonts, all strokes end at horizontal or vertical angles. Long passages of text set in the typeface are comfortable to read. Passenger Sans’s fonts have are proportionally-spaced lining figures as the default numerals, but with OpenType features, oldstyle figures and tabular figures are also available. In the upright fonts, the ‘a’ and the ‘g’ are double-storied, while in the italics they’re single-storied – the ‘opposite’ version is always available as an OpenType alternate. Folito is a modernist sans serif typeface. Its design combines typically grotesk-style letterforms, with some characters that are quite geometrically-designed. In terms of its appearance, Folito was inspired by Modernism and Industrial-Era graphic and typographic design. The family has five weights on offer, ranging from Light to Black. It is an excellent choice for use in branding, editorial, and poster design. Folito’s lowercase ‘a’ and ‘g’ are double-storied; however, single-storied alternates are available, through an OpenType feature. The fonts’ other OpenType features include 10 ligatures per font, as well as alternate versions of the ‘G’ and ’t’. The default numeral style in each of the fonts is proportional lining figures; three other styles of numbers are included, too. There are tabular lining figures, as well as numerators and denominators for typesetting fractions. The fonts’ lining figures have the same height as the uppercase letters. The lowercase’s ascenders are drawn to be slightly taller than the common height of the capital letters and numerals. Each Folito font contains ten directional-arrow glyphs, as well as six glyphs of circles, squares, and triangles. There is also a peace sign in the character set, a smiling-face emoji, a check mark, and two versions of the numbers one through nine, each enclosed inside of differently-filled circles. Folito is the work of Deni Anggara, an Indonesian designer based in Medan.

Our Ballinger family continues to grow with the addition of 16 new narrow styles. Their shared DNA is visible in the generous counters and x-height, forthright forms, and air of cheery efficiency. And like their wider relatives, they have their roots in 19th Century jobbing faces. While the eight Condensed styles are designed for impact, we took care to balance them for continuous reading, making them ideal for applications where space is at a premium. In contrast, the radically smooshed X-Condensed weights are ideal for movie credits, legal disclaimers, and lists of side effects. Features include semi-oldstyle figures and case-sensitive punctuation and delimiters. Winner of an ICAD Gold Bell.

The goal of Beletria is to be a contemporary looking book typeface for fast reading (frankly, I was already bored of using of good old Baskerville for the volumes I illustrated recently). I needed an inconspicuous typographic element to combine with my pictures. The development of Beletria family took most of 2018 and resulted in 26 styles of classical proportions at 2 optical sizes. It has a large x-height and lively italics. Naturally the usual array of OpenType features is present. Beletria is perfect for electronic publication as well.

Available in three styles, Kakao was influenced by different hand-drawning tools and 1960s street typography. Vojtěch Říha was exploring the craft of hand lettering with pens, markers and brushes. Kakao Script was drawn with a pen marker and refers to casual writing style of its author. The solid marker was used to draw Kakao Cursive, which is less calligraphic and more letterspaced. Kakao Bold, drawn with a wide brush is the most expressive and dominant. The tools and drawing styles also influenced some of the letterforms, for example the lower case 'g'. Kakao Cursive and Kakao Black include two types of alternative lowercases that do not repeat when next to each other. Kakao Script has a variety of alternatives, swash lowercases and two types of uppercase letters. Kakao family received Award of Excellence in the 2015 Communication Arts Typography Annual.
